With our FU.Life Events, we aim to create diverse opportunities for connection and exchange. In August, the focus is on two events: an art opening and an After Work Reset -two different formats that offer space for art, conversation, and a relaxed time together.

We spend so much energy organizing the start of our workday—the routines, the coffee, the to-do lists—and almost none on shaping its end. But without a clear conclusion, the workday doesn’t stay at your desk. It comes home with you, sits down with you at the dinner table, and keeps you company while you try to fall asleep.

In his art, Kelvin Kioi blends African and European influences to create a visual language all his own. His works span abstraction, realism, and contemporary painting, exploring themes such as cultural diversity, identity, and encounter.
At the opening, you can watch Kelvin Kioi create a new artwork live and gain insight into his creative process. The exhibition will take place in one of our serviced apartments - a unique setting where art and living space come together.

The exhibition’s concept explores fashion as an art form, with a particular focus on sustainability, craftsmanship, and artistic expression. Instead of presenting the garments in the traditional runway format, I will display them as sculptural fashion creations on mannequins, allowing each garment to be experienced as a standalone work of art.
The images I shared earlier are examples of my work and offer a visual glimpse into my creative practice. I will also send you a curated selection of the final pieces that will be on display at the exhibition. These images may also be used for promotional and communication purposes related to the exhibition.
